Immune Support for Cancer Patients

Just over a year ago we were approached by Naomi Mayhew who's mother had been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer called Myeloproliferative Neoplasm (MPN) in August 2014. Remona had been steadily getting sicker and weaker with symptoms including constant pain, renal failure, water retention in her legs to the point that she could not bend her knees, her skin was painful to the touch, she had no energy or appetite, severe joint pain and very bad headaches.

Mom religiously takes her dose three times a day.

"When Mom first arrived here she weighed 40kg's, the doctors were very shocked at how thin she was and the bad way she was in and they rushed to do everything to save her and that was about 4 years ago but she was still very sick until about two years ago when she first went to see the oncology department every month. Yesterday Mom was at the doctors for her regular checkup and one of the very first doctors that first dealt with her when she first got admitted happened to walk past her while she was sitting there waiting to see the doctor and he spun around and he looked at my Mom and my Mom looked at him and he said "Really? Is that you?" He said that he could not believe the difference in my Mom. She weighed herself yesterday and she now weighs 62kg's. I told you last week how much better she's looking. She's looking so much better and really really good now and this doctor is so shocked because she's basically come back from the dead. So anyway, Mom just wanted me to let you know that she takes her Vulcan Silver religiously and she said it's clearly doing some good and she's very happy so thank you."

Vulcan Silver vs Varicose Ulcers

Some time ago we were approached by someone who knew about an elderly gentleman in a homeless shelter who had varicose ulcers that had become gangrenous and septic. The smell had become so bad that his wife could no longer share a bed with him, he couldn't wear shoes, was on crutches and had been put on the amputation list at his local government hospital. The picture below was sent to us so that we could assess the situation and decide if we would be prepared to sponsor the Vulcan Silver as a last resort to saving his leg. 

After just over a month of taking maximum doses (2.5ml 3 x a day) of Vulcan Silver and applying it topically every second day with fresh bandages we were thrilled to notice the fresh pink skin that was starting to grow where it was a big raw wound before.

Below is the last picture we received along with a message that he had been taken off the amputation list, his wife had moved back into his bed and he was wearing shoes again. One can see how the healing was happening from the edges of the wound inwards and compared to the first picture what was left to heal is relatively small. "I tested positive for both strains of Coxsackie B2 and B5 in June 2012. In Nov 2013 I tested positive for Epstein Barr Virus, better known as Glandular Fever. Both viruses cause similar symptoms. Unlike bacterial infections many viruses can hide within the body and often the best you can do is control flare ups and keep the blood free of viruses to prevent replication.

Vulcan Silver vs Eczema

30 year old male patient with eczema flare ups behind both knees, both elbows as well as on his hips. Despite prescribed creams the condition worsened. Pictured below are before, during and after pictures taken over the course of two weeks. Patient was on maximum dose of Vulcan Silver orally (2.5ml 3 x per day) as well as applying topically.

Vulcan Silver vs Wound Healing - Follow Up

In October last year we wrote about Riaan van der Westhuizen's terrible ordeal after being severely injured in a highjacking. He got infected with Enterobacter clocae (a very aggressive multi drug resistant bacteria) in hospital and consequently developed sepsis which is often fatal. Doctors wanted to amputate. Last week Riaan sent us a new picture of his arm, pictured below.

As reported in our previous blog post and thanks to Vulcan Silver, his infections cleared up, the wound completely healed without stitches or skin grafts and doctors could do surgery to reattach his severed tendons. However, they made it clear that there is very little hope of him ever getting movement and sensation back as it was doubtful that his nerves would grow back sufficiently. Since then Riaan has faithfully taken his daily doses (3 X 2.5ml) of Vulcan Silver. Despite the fact that the surgeons were sceptical about any feeling returning to the arm and advised that follow up surgeries may be required Riaan is experiencing up to 40% mobility and sensation in his arm and hand. So it was no big surprise to him when the surgeon did a follow up consultation in order to schedule the next surgery, that it was found that in the last 3 months alone his nerves had grown 150mm in length and further surgery was ruled out at this time. With only 250mm of nerves left to form it is now believed that Riaan will make a full recovery.

Riaan is slowly starting to play guitar and perform live again, which has always been one of his passions and something he thought was behind him forever.

Vulcan Silver vs Pet Wounds

Molly, a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel, goes running with her brother Mike and their human every day. During one of their runs a tiny piece of asphalt got lodged inside her paw. Her human noticed her licking, saw a small wound and took her to the vet. Two weeks later the wound was getting bigger and the bacteria had eaten right through to the top of her paw despite antibiotics. Molly was infected with a flesh eating bacteria and her human was faced with the prospect of amputation as the wound was getting bigger and deeper daily. Fortunately he decided to give Vulcan Silver a try. He applied it topically and bandaged her foot daily to prevent her licking it off. To rid her bloodstream of the bacteria he also dosed her orally with 2ml twice a day.  After 8 days the wound is entirely healed and Molly is back to her old self.

Vulcan Silver vs Diabetes and Diabetic Gangrene

Patient aged 74 was diagnosed with Diabetes, despite the various medications that were tried his condition worsened, blood sugar levels hovered dangerously at about 12 and the medicine caused peripheral neuropathy and complete numbness of hands which he was advised would be irreversible. Furthermore, diabetes presented with wounds on the feet and toes which led to gangrene and sepsis and a recommendation for toes to be amputated to avoid spreading.
